The John Curtin School of  Medical Research is Australia's national medical research school and brings to the nation better health through discovery. Established through the inspiration of Nobel Laureate and penicillin developer Sir Howard Florey and the support of Australia’s wartime Prime Minister John Curtin, the School is part of the Australian National University's Institute of Advanced Studies.
